Olympia Snowe
Olympia Snowe has had an extensive political career, serving in an array of state and federal government bodies. Her career began when she acquired a seat on the Maine House of Representatives, following the death of her husband. Currently, Senator Olympia Snowe is representing the state of Maine in the United States Senate. She serves on a variety of Senate Committees and Subcommittees, and is recognized as being a very influential figure in the Senate.
