State Representatives are elected officials that represent specific districts as their own constituencies. These officials can be found working within the House of Representatives. 


State Representatives Background
State Representatives in the House of Representatives and members of the Senate make the same amount of money. However, the amount of money that is paid to either group is contingent upon a complex system that is used to figure out the wages.  However, they can influence change regarding their own wages, and various other job descriptions that are enlisted to them. 


Illinois State Representatives
When it comes to understanding how to identify and get into contact with a state representative, it is imperative to understand how state representatives are broken down. They are broken down into congressional districts, smaller portions of the greater who of the state. Illinois, for example, has 19 congressional districts, meaning there are 19 Illinois state representatives within the House of Representatives.
